Canon Camera Common Faults

Here are the list of common faults of Canon cameras, and how to deal with these faults. Wish helpful for you. If you have met these problems, here are the solves, if you are luck and haven’t met these problems, you will be luck again to avoid these problems worries you in the future.  CANON EOS 550D Battery

Error 01

Communication between the lens and the camera fails, try cleaning the lens contacts. Compaq PRESARIO M2000 battery

Error 02

You can try to take out and insert CF card again; formatting the CF card, or use another CF card. Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T1 battery

Error 04

Memory card is full, remove the images in the CF card or replace the card.

Error 05

Built-in flash automatically pops up operations is hampered.

Error E18

The lens is abnormal. FUJIFILM FinePix J10 battery

Power led is on, but the lens cannot be extended and is making an abnormal sound?

This means the zoom component of the lens has been damaged.

When shooting with Flash (especially at night), there are White spots or white circle on the pictures.

The light of the Flash makes reflective of dust or insects in the air, it’s most obvious when using wide angle, which is a normal phenomenon.

Viewfinder fuzzy and canon not focus correctly.

This is caused by focus component or camera sensor shift.

Viewfinder screen shows black or random, as same as the viewfinder playback after taking pictures, video.

Such failures occurred in the early A-series and IXUS series models, the sensor (CCD) abnormal

Imaging in the room with stripes, outdoor pictures appears white, videos are normal.

The lens shutter components have been damaged.

The CF card can not be inserted or the camera CF can not boot when the card is inserted.

Slot-pin angular or the slot plate is damaged.

Modes dial bounce or malfunctioning.

This means there are internal contact problems or mode dial component deformation, fracture.

Low Power Warning For Full Charged New Battieres

When you buy camera batteries for your cameras please notice for the battery type which your camera support. Many cameras only support alkaline batteries or Li batteries, else there will be low power warning for full charged new batteries.

Error 99

Other errors occur besides the above ones, such as Shutter failure, motherboard, fast storage and so on.

Remove and reinstall the battery

If you are using a Canon lens or the camera or lens operation is incorrect, the error may occur
